I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time when I was 10. It was on tv one Halloween and it was a feed from an actual theater, so I could see that actors acting it out as it played on the screen, while my mom and her friends screamed out the ad libs from our livingroom. I was obsessed and made my parents by me a copy. I watched it so many times that I burned out the VHS and broke my VCR. My sister and I used to dress up like our favorite characters in our room and act out the movie (imitating the live cast) with the kids that lived next door to us at the time. I've always been Columbia. I never imagined that I'd actually get to play her with a real cast, in front of a real audience.
I saw Rocky for the first time in a theater in the summer of '04. I've lived over-seas for most of my life and I've never been able to find a theater that still runs it, until St. Pete. I was humiliated, soaked and freezing by the end of the night and I came back for more. The director announced that the cast was looking for new members and anyone could join, so I took up the offer. I started out as a props-bitch, then moved on to dinner scene Frank, until Heidi asked me to be her understudy for Columbia. Heidi is officially my favorite person of all time, ever.
