Hello, this is a brief venture into the world of Lisa, where few dare to tread and even fewer return from. If you come across someone who has been there, you can tell, for they have never
been the same again.
I am a 1977 Cancer who is 5'6" with deep brown eyes and dangerously large breasts. I can usually be found in the back of the theatre, flaunting my cleavage yelling AP. I have also been known to perform once in a while.
I have been performing at Rocky for about 7 years, starting in May of 1996. I have taken hiatus, because I like to think that I could have a life outside of Rocky, but I always come back after realizing that I am just a boring person who has nowhere to go on a Saturday night if I don't go to the show.
I started out running around doing props for Interchangeable Parts. I got my first chance to be on stage on a Switch Night. My stage cherry was popped the weekend after my birthday that
year and the first part I played was Eddie. Since then, I have played every part except Riff Raff. However, I am especially fond of the Criminologist. I am quite anal about the show, and
have been asked many times to teach audience members a part in 15 minutes.
It only recently came to my attention the reason why people come to me to teach them a part. Apparently, on the first cast list that I was on, all actors had their real name, their phone
number and their part. I was the only one who was listed with "Whatever" as my part. I am also, so far as anyone knows, still the only person who has ever been listed that way. People have definite parts that they don't like to stray from these days. I, on the other hand, am happy to do anything needed, provided that I can, in order for the show to be successful.
I am the Quote Queen. I am the bane of the cast when they see me whip out a pad of paper and pen, knowing that something that they just said will now be displayed for anyone who cares to
see. I am also the Quote Queen due to my memorizing of just about every movie I have ever seen. It is a rare occurrence that I say anything original.
March 2004 Update:
I am currently on an indefinite break due to the birth of my first child, Megan. Her father, Tom, and I are having a wonderful time with her. Sometimes, things become more important than Rocky. We have found, to our delight, that Megan is one of those things.
