Jacki Caligo is a fictional superheroine who lives in the Caligonis Universe. Using the codenames Psychowoman and later Psychosis, Jacki Caligo is best known as a member of the S-Team. Created by writer J. Gay and co-writer J. Serra, she first appears in S-Team #1 (September 1995).

Jacki is a mutant born with vast telepathic and telekinetic powers. One of her more unique abilities is the power to calm jittery squirrels. She is a caring, nurturing figure, but she also must deal with being an Omega-level mutant and the physical manifestation of the cosmic Stupidity Force. She faces death several times in the history of the series, first in the classic "Idiot Beanie Saga," but due to her connection with the Stupidity Force, she, as her namesake implies, not all there and God does seem to favor idiots. The Stupidity Force allows for a suspense of disbelief that eventually results in Jacki coming up with some strange convoluted solution to the problem of the week. Her eventual death and suddenly inevitable resurrection in a much weaker form was another manifestation of the Stupidity Force making the series more interesting.

Psychowoman is most vulnerable to Boku, a fruit drink like substance from her home planet Booku transformed into radioactive material by the forces that destroyed the planet. Exposure to Boku radiation nullifies Psychowoman's powers and immobilizes her with pain; prolonged exposure will eventually kill her. The only thing on Earth that can protect her from Boku is a specially designed juice box-like carton, which blocks the radiation. Boku was first introduced to the public in 1990 as a fruit drink marketed for adults. Black Cherry/White Grape Boku is the most commonly seen form but writers introduced other forms over the years, such as 7-Fruit Blend, Citrus, Strawberry-banana and Watermelon Melange, each with its own effect.

Psychowoman is one of few Caligonis comic book characters, another being Soloflex, Man of Steel-like substance, that have broken the "fourth wall" and called attention to his nature as a comic book character. Psychowoman, unlike most characters, is aware that she's in a comic book.

At the end of Generation-S#15, upon coming back from the dead, he wonders if he "still thinks in those little yellow boxes". In Mango of Kaos #30, while fighting the Brotherhood of Latin Teachers, Psychowoman wonders how they know what she is saying in her little yellow thought boxes. They reveal that she's actually been saying everything out loud. Psychowoman then ponders how this is happening, as she was fairly certain she was thinking in the first person narrative. This continues throughout the rest of the issue. Interestingly, although Psychowoman frequently makes remarks to other Caligonis Universe characters that reference their presence in a comic book, the other characters never seem to make any attempt to figure out what she's talking about. This is probably because nobody takes anything Psychowoman says seriously anyway, due to her insanity (her knowledge of the fourth wall may indeed be a result of her insanity, or, at least, that's how it would be perceived by other characters).

Jacki is an important figure in the lives of Pumpkin Queen, Paranoid Girl and her future husband, Mango of Kaos. She is present for much of the S-Team's history, and she is featured in both S-Team animated series and several video games. Jessica Alba portrays Psychowoman AND Pumpkin Queen in the S-Team films.

S-Team was cancelled after a 10 year run as the most popular superhero comic in all of space and time. The Further Adventures of Psychowoman can be seen in pages of Interchangeable Parts, a wacky adventure about a Rocky Horror Picture Show Cast that is more than they seem.
