Chris is one of our on-again, off-again cast members. For those who don't know, those are people who are on cast for a few months, quit, come back for a few more months, etc. Chris' reasoning for this is because he has a rather peculiar job which takes him across the country every so often. Chris is one of only seven people in the entire United States with this unusal profession. Chris is a Panther Procreation Expert.
What he does is help the endangered North American Panther become pregnant so that the species won't go extinct. The problem is that the male doesn't always have the proper "motivation" to mate, so Chris helps the male panthers get in the mood. Now, apparently it is a long, arduous process to get the male properly aroused, sometimes taking several weeks. How he goes about this, or so he tells me, is by getting the male panther alone and setting the proper atmosphere. Chris starts off by lighting some aromic candles in the panther's den, hangs pictures from "Panther Penthouse", and puts on Barry White (Barry always gets them ready for the lovin'). After reading some erotic panther poetry, and maybe even showing a special "National Geographic" video for those tougher cases, Chris tests the male's readiness by putting on a female panther costume and walks around on all fours, swaying his butt sexually, seeing if the male approaches him. If Chris is "mounted" then it's time and they bring in the female, hoping the male will discover that Chris isn't a real panther and will mate with the female instead. Sometimes the male finishes while still on top of Chris, and they have to start the process all over. The job ain't easy, but it is nessecary for the continuation of the species.
